Happy 4th of July, Ladies!!
Today, we celebrate our great FREEDOM—the freedom to write as I do and to speak as we will! What a blessing it is to live in the USA. We are given the freedom to worship Christ and to enjoy our faith without penalty. What a precious gift that is!
Take a moment today and imagine what it would look like if we celebrated our FREEDOM in Christ every single day. How would that change your life?
Jesus declared in John 8:36, “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” Thank you, Jesus, for that promise!
Remember, ladies, FREEDOM in Christ is not the right to do whatever we want whenever we want—but the ability to do what we ought to do. It’s the power to be our best selves, to become who He created us to be in His image.
Without Christ, we are slaves to sin, unable to do what is right. But Christ’s death on the cross set us FREE from the penalty and power of sin and death!
So today—eat your watermelon, wave your flags, buy popsicles for the kiddos, and watch fireworks with your loved ones. And remember: you have FREEDOM in CHRIST every day to celebrate!
